We admit it. We made a mistake. We left this whiskey in the barrel longer than intended. Our attention was otherwise engaged, and it got forgotten. When we unearthed it, dusty and long past its planned pouring date, we thought all was lost. That is, until we tasted it...

The extra time in the barrel did the whiskey no harm; in fact, the heavy oak finish added a depth and complexity of flavor to the liquid that we just loved. In nature, mistakes spark evolution, and we are believers in embracing mistakes. So, in true Natterjack style, we went with it.
