The Old Forester Birthday Bourbon – 2018 Release is a highly sought-after, limited-edition bourbon, crafted to honor George Garvin Brown, the founder of Old Forester. Released annually on September 2nd, this edition was drawn from 12-year-old barrels and marks a historic milestone as the first Birthday Bourbon vintage to be bottled at the new Old Forester Distilling Co. on Louisville’s Historic Whiskey Row.

The 2018 release was barreled on June 9, 2006, and aged in a selection of 120 barrels from different locations:

• 93 barrels matured on the 3rd floor, Northwest side of Warehouse J.
• 27 barrels matured on the 3rd floor, Northwest side of Warehouse I.

Bottled at 101 proof (50.5% ABV), this vintage delivers a rich and well-balanced profile with deep caramelized sweetness, complex spice, and elegant oak influence.
