The Glenlivet 40 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky

This remarkable Single Malt Scotch Whisky has been aged for 40 years, expertly crafted by The Glenlivet’s cask specialists and bottled at a cask strength of 46.9%. Under the careful guidance of The Glenlivet’s Cask Master, Kevin Balmforth, this new permanent release was finished in custom casks infused with a unique blend of Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez sherries from Spain’s Jerez region. The combination of this special cask finish and extensive aging imparts a deep complexity, offering a rich flavor profile with notes of poached plums, charred orange, dark cherries, warming spice, and braised red apples, culminating in a smooth, sweet finish.
